Greedy Squirrel

by Phillipa Turnbull

Bring the charming Greedy Squirrel to life with this complete materials kit. Inspired by early 20th-century English crewelwork, this design captures a red squirrel nibbling in its woodland home.

Ideal for stitchers building their skills, the project progresses from simple stitches to the challenge of creating a spiky tail and smoothly blended body. Includes all the wools, linen, and needles needed to complete this delightful woodland scene.

How we give back

We are passionate about keeping embroidery alive for future generations and supporting the talented artisans as well as the collection owners and arts industry professionals involved in their care.

Where possible, we donate (based on the sale price) directly to the castle, country house, or institution that the original embroidery belongs to.

With this donation, we specifically support the care and conservation of the original historic embroideries in the respective collection, as well as the training of staff involved in its upkeep.
