Gawthorpe Star Ornament Kit

Gawthorpe Star Ornament Kit

by Natalie Dupuis

This fun design was created especially for beginners to metal thread embroidery.

Inspired by an interesting early 20th century sampler of stars, this design has been cleverly re-imagined by Natalie as a festive decoration. The metal thread shapes recall eight brightly coloured bracts of the seasonal poinsettia plant. Your finished embroidery will be a double-sided ornament, stitched on a deep red silk and enhanced by a hand-made tassel with 24-karat beads.
