Many thanks for personally getting back to me on my wool thread issue. I was ever so happy and surprised when I received your kind personal reply to my silly plight!
My issue in the previous email was that of finding, as a newbie to Crewel embroidery, that my stitching was much fuzzier or hairy, than I felt was proper. You hit the nail on the head by making sure that I was holding my needle at 90 degrees - - which I quickly realized, I was NOT!
I have horrible arthritis in my fingers and was holding the needle at a slant rather than piercing the linen 'due north' as my mother would say. And to answer your other question, YES, I was beginning the work on Rabbits that I had ordered, along with a seat frame, which has now become my new best friend.
I have also enjoyed your YouTubes instructions sessions and am amazed at how much beauty can be gleaned from working with wool and linen. Even if I never become truly adept and perfect at this, the enjoyment I get from finding you and your company, has added such bounty to my life!
Blessings to you, your daughter and your company and I hope 2023 finds you with new ideas, new people to assist and a constant flow of admirers and embroiderer 'want-to-be's.!
