What else will I need?

We recommend using a Hands Free Seat Frame with an 8 inch hoop and with paddle base or table clamp. Alternatively you may prefer to use a Slate Frame or other frame of your choice. You will also need a pair of scissors and a thimble if you use one.

How long will it take me?

Everyone stitches at different speeds and tensions but as a guide, this design should take around 10 hours.

We offer free delivery on all UK Orders over £100 and all International orders over £250.

UK orders are sent by 2nd class 'Signed For' delivery ~ 2-3 Working Days. Orders under £100. Orders over 2kg are sent with DPD.

International orders are sent Untracked or Tracked with Royal Mail, or with DPD. Live rates are calculated at check out depending on the size of your order.

Excellent in every way

Makes complete sense.

The kit is both beautiful and functional . The design has a lovely balance of design and negative space with gorgeous winter/ Christmassy colours.
The way the wool is laid out on a sticky tape is inspired and the colour chart is clear and instructions, together with the videos , are easy to follow with helpful hints like how to pull wool out without tangling. ( Although I prefer not to use the cling film idea as it’s plastic , but use an old piece of linen to wrap around the outer frame instead. )

My first and a favorite

Lovely materials, clear instructions and a good introduction to crewel. It was my first project and, it happens, a good choice. I love the design, it looks to me like a pesky deer eating away at my garden.
