I loved the Crewel World beginner embroidery kits! The designs are beautiful and the instructions are very clear. I have embroidered before but I am new to crewel work. Clearly whoever makes these kits does so lovingly and with much knowledge of the craft.

This kit is beautifully designed, and I am in love with the rich color palette. As a new stitcher, I splurged and bought the corresponding video and I have no regrets. Watching Philippa demonstrate the stitches, gave me the confidence to complete this kit. I am about to finish the last of the hummocks, and I am contemplating whether to frame or make a cushion.

One thing I very much appreciate now that I am about finished is how much wool I still have left. The CWC is very generous with their quantities, both in terms of providing a second skein for some colors, but also in using so many shades in the design itself. I am very proud of my almost-finished product. I will be stitching The Rowan Tree next.

The kit is amazing! First time
working with wool. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I love this kit and pattern! Really live the book with all of the history too.
