Join us 4-17 July 2021 for a needlework extravaganza in Appleby and The Eden Valley. Workshops, lectures and other activities will take place in celebration of historic needlework and participants will enjoy the full remit of technique classes and expert lectures.
Specialist embroidery tutors from America, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and the UK will lead 1, 2 and 3 day workshops in Elizabethan, Medieval, Jacobean and Arts & Crafts embroidery with techniques including Gold Work, Mountmellick, Silk Shading, 'stumpwork', Crewel Work, Needlepoint and Blackwork.
Students may attend the whole festival or pick and choose their days, building their own itineraries of workshops, lectures and excursions. Accommodation will be booked independently offering participants the ultimate flexibility.
