Lord of the Privy Council Goldwork

Lucy Martin
Intermediate

Join Hand & Lock's Lucy Martin for a brand new 3-day online course exploring the history of ceremonial Goldwork embroidery. Inspired by a c. 1900 Lord of the Privy Councellor Uniform once worn by Sir James Phillips Kay-Shuttleworth, 1st Baronet of Gawthorpe Hall, this design links both Shuttleworth Family ties to this ancient ceremonial post as well as Hand & Lock's Royal Commission on the Poseidon Teal ensemble worn by Penny Mordaunt at the Coronation of King Charles III.
