Tony the Lion - Online course with Hazel Blomkamp (Inc. Stitch Library)

$633.00
Tax included.

This majestic lion was designed by Hazel specifically to fit with the historical and heraldic theme of our Lady Anne's Needlework Festival held in May 2021. The design is informed by Hazel's vast experience as an embroidery specialist and features an incredible array of stitches and techniques.

In this course you will have access to Hazel's vast and unique library of stitches (listed below) which, once learned, will inspire your stitches for your own embroidery designs.

Course running time: 19 hours (Introduction (1 hour) plus Stitch Library (18 hours)

Course outline explained: In the first two 'Introduction' videos Hazel talks you through setting up your hoop. She then talks through each section of the design, explaining which stitch to use where and the order in which to tackle the space. The 'points' she refers to in the videos relate to points in the instruction book provided with the kit.

The second group of videos you will gain access to is a 'stitch library' which you will use to access the stitch you need based on where you are in the design. There are 106 videos and 18 hours worth of content in this stitch library and it is designed to be dipped in and out of based on the stitch you need.
