This is my first ever piece of crewel work, and I am so pleased I decided to purchase the online course, as well as the kit. There is just so much more information, hints, tips and expertise to apply in future from the course, than from the - albeit clear and precise - kit instructions. Gave me much more confidence going forward, to tackle the bigger project I also purchased (Tree of Life firescreen kit). Really made the whole stitching experience come to life! Highly recommend taking a course, rather than just getting a kit.
