I selected this as my first because it had some familiar stitching with a few I wanted to learn. Instructions were easy to follow. Finished the piece pretty quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed every stitch along the way. I highly recommend this beautiful beginner kit. Will be turning mine into a cushion. Thanks Phillipa.
Loved this project! It was all you would imagine it to be.
Thank you for creating such beautiful work, Phillipa!
I purchased this for my husband, I think this is his 4th kit. He loves them and they always look amazing. People comment on the colours of the wools
This kit is excellent. Everything is very nicely packaged. Opening the kit is a pleasure as you take out the linen it is fantastic quality. Appletons wool all neatly organised on a strip or two in order, saves hassle. Then the intructions so clear. One very hapy customer.
Yes I have been a returning very fussy customer. I have only the highest praise for the quality of the product. Everyone at the company is 1000% helpful. All round excellent.
This kit is just beautiful with wonderful rich colours, I am about half way through and absolutely loving it. I already did the Gawthorpe Cherry Tree and this is going to be a lovely companion to it
This is beautifully packaged kit. I have oderd from the before and the quality is exceptional. And it arrived quickly!
I feel much thought has gone into producing such fantastic kits.
Since I am on my second project. The standard is as good as the first Exceptionally well designed for all levels of ability. Lovely photography chart for colour and stitching, with the back up of Phillipa’s videos what could be easier to follow. Giving me so much pleasure. Thank you.
Well designed. Very tactile wood. It does take a while to feel comfortable and at ease with using it. I would imagine with someone to hand I would have adapted much quicker. Couldn’t work without it
Everything arrived beautifully packed and I have completed about a quarter of it - I am loving stitching - the instructions are clear, the materials are gorgeous and I will be ordering again when my Rowan is complete! A complete joy - I am so delighted to have discovered you!
Great package. Just need time to research stitching then start
My first at temp at crewel work purchased to accompany me on a world cruise. Unfortunately tripped 2 days before and unable to travel. Now my inspiration to regain use of my arm. Still excited about completing the work.
My hands are free to work on my stitching instead in of holding techniques! 😊
I love all the kits that I have done from Crewelwork - I have seriously lost count. Their directions and videos are so good! I am a crewel addict now - the only problem is that they don't produce new kits as quickly as I would love for them to!
I found the course extremely helpful and had referred to it multiple times. However, I could not reach the course from your website and emailed your company for an explanation as to how to access the course through the website and never got a reply. I have had to rely on access through my email, wherein I have to pull up your email and click on the link. Very inconvenient.
I have not had the pleasure of using it as of yet. I ordered it for a class in Oxford , Mississippi in June. But, I treasure just having it as a tool to look for to using.
The Australian Border Force opened my parcel for some reason but obviously found nothing! However it is in a beautiful red large box, loads of wool and an A4 instruction booklet with pics. Unfortunately soon after it arrived my family experienced a death of someone paramount to us all and my stitching projects are being postponed. It just looks glorious though thank you CWC.
It is amazing: rich colours and fabulous textures; and so much fun to stitch.
I love this project but I wish that there would have been more in-depth directions
on each of the separate patterns and a description of each stitch used and pictures to go along with the outline of each pattern that is given. The booklet doesn't give enough directions on what to do. I'm really good at this type of embroidery but I still got lost on parts of it.
Stitching Gawthorpe Pomegranate during one of Denver’s snowfall in March, total precipitation: 39 inches, turned out to be the best investment on my frame of mind. Colors are exquisite, directions are clear, concise. It will be a pillow for my summer home in Colombia.
