Gawthorpe Hall Collection
A Grade I listed building in the heart of the English county of Lancashire, Gawthorpe Hall is an Elizabethan Mansion that was once home to 20th Century maker, teacher, philanthropist and social activist, The Honourable Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth (1886-1967).
This marvel of late Elizabethan architecture embodies the legacy of the Shuttleworth family, who over 600 years built a fortune, overcame civil war and tragedy, entertained royalty and, finally, left a palpable modern legacy.
