NEW - Barcelona Residential - April 2026 (deposit)
During this new Retreat, our first outside of the UK, we will spend a total of 10 days in the Catalunya region of Spain. The first 5 days will be spent in Barcelona city where we will stay in the heart of the upper part of town, a stones thrown from the prestigious shopping area of Passeig de Gracia.
Workshops and accommodation will take place each day in a private members club located in an incredible modernista building just a stones throw from our hotel and overlooking the elegant Diagonal in the heart of the upper part of Barcelona. Coffee shops, lunch spots, and great shopping are right outside the door.
There will be plenty time to absorb this wonderful city between or after class and take in the best local sights, great architecture, and enjoy the balmy Spring weather. A walk or cycle around the old town too is a must for those who wish to.
After our city leg, we will travel 2 hours north west by coach on a spectacular journey through the foothills of the Pyrenees. We will eventually arrive at a Cerdanya, a valley located on the French border and prized locally for it's dramatic views of the Cadi mountain range, diverse flora and fauna, and great food. We will have exclusive use of the 5 star luxury Serras Torre del Remei where will settle into further workshops, enjoy the spring blossom in the elegant hotel gardens, and explore the local area.
Laura and Priti both live in Barcelona and travel to Cerdanya regularly so they know the areas we will be visiting very well and will be on hand provide local knowledge and language when needed.

"A big thank is due to you for one of the most stimulating and interesting week that I have had for some time. The mixture of nationalities was great and created interesting conversations, other than embroidery! - Jean, 2018 & 2019 Spring Residential Retreat participant (Lake District retreat)
