Elizabethan Coif by Deborah Wilding
This stunning design is based on a coif in the collection of the V&A museum in London. The original coif dates from the early 1600s and is worked with red silk and highlighted with silver spangles. The techniques used in this design make it suitable for all levels of embroidery experience.
Kit contents: Fabric with printed design, calico base fabric, red silk thread, silver spangles, silver metallic thread, instruction book and needles.
Techniques: Blackwork, basic Goldwork, Back Stitch, Buttonhole, Seeding.
