This little rabbit is inspired by the design on an early 17th Century rework waistcoat, now part of the Victoria and Albert Museum’s textile collection in London. The original was a crewel work design was made in England in the 1630s. This rabbit is embroidered using natural cochineal-dyed fine red embroidery wool, as was the original.
